Dr. William L. Krieg
Dr. Krieg, the second oldest of five children, was raised on the east side. After graduating from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Dr. Krieg earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in 1981. He completed a full-time specialty residency two years later, receiving a Master's degree in Orthodontics from the University of Detroit.
LakePointe Orthodontics originated in the orthodontic practice of Dr. William H. Krieg (retired), who began his business just ½ mile away in 1958. He was joined by his son, Dr. William L. Krieg in 1983. Together, they have provided orthodontic services to the east side for a combined total of over 80 years!
Always eager to learn, Dr. Krieg attends numerous continuing education courses each year to stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in the field of orthodontics. He is also an active member of several national orthodontic study clubs. These groups are attended by some of the finest orthodontists in the country, who gather annually to share their best ideas. In addition to learning, he enjoys teaching and is currently a visiting professor of orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. Additionally, he serves as faculty advisor to the student chapter of the Christian Dental Association on campus and is active in promoting dental missions both locally and overseas. Dr. Krieg is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association and their affiliate organizations. He has also published original research material in an internationally recognized orthodontic journal.
Dr. Krieg and his wife, Shelley, were blessed with four children: Alexander, Katrina, Christopher, and Will. He and his family are quite involved in their church and have a variety of outside interests which they enjoy together including boating, traveling, biking, and downhill skiing.
Dr. Brynn M. Pajtas
Dr. Pajtas, a southeast Michigan native, received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Orthodontic degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, earning the highest academic honors. Prior to her dental education, she attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Albion College with a focus on chemistry and business management.
Dr. Pajtas has a heart for serving others. She is an active volunteer, working with the Christian Dental Association in Honduras, supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and participating in a number of Detroit’s dental outreach programs. In the orthodontic clinic, her compassion for patients is demonstrated by her gentle chairside manner and careful attention to detail. Dr. Pajtas is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and their local chapters in Michigan.
In her free time, Dr. Pajtas participates in a variety of activities. She is a competitive volleyball player and a dedicated runner who has completed several marathons. In addition, Dr. Pajtas enjoys her involvement at church, relaxing with family and friends as well as salmon fishing on Lake Michigan.
