Front Desk
Nancy
Working in orthodontia, I meet patients and families on a regular basis. I am one of the first faces you see when you walk into LakePointe Orthodontics. Having been here since 1986, I’ve built wonderful relationships with so many of the families. I look forward to seeing the completion of treatment almost as much as the patients! I am known around the office for my humor and my passion for choir, drama, and my church.

I began working for Drs. Kreig and Pajtas at the front desk during the summer of 2011. In my time here, I have enjoyed getting to know the patients and their families, and watching how the doctors handle each patient with care. Our office is always filled with lots of laughter, leaving me looking forward to every new day of work!
Linda
I have been in the general dentistry field for 30 years and have been in orthodontics at LakePointe since 2009. As an employee at LakePointe Orthodontics, I appreciate how Drs. Krieg and Pajtas deliver their work with a heartfelt smile. I am proud that we can change our patients’ self-esteem along with their smiles.
Treatment Coordinators
Sandy
I have been a part of the team at LakePointe Orthodontics since 1990. I have worked in the ortho world for over 23 years, first as an assistant, then at the front desk working with insurance companies, and now as a treatment coordinator. Throughout my time here, I have most enjoyed seeing the beautiful smiles created by braces. After work, I volunteer regularly for the Michigan Animal Adoption Network, helping cats and dogs find new homes.

I have nearly 30 years of experience in the orthodontic world, since starting with LakePointe in 1984. Working with Drs. Kreig and Pajtas has been a great experience, and the thing I like most about my job is the people I work with and the charisma they bring to the office. Seeing patients gain confidence because of their beautiful smiles is a satisfying feeling and I am honored to be a part of the process. If there are freshly baked scones in the office, they likely came from my oven!
Orthodontic Assistants
Barb
In 2001, I began working at LakePointe Orthodontics. During my years here, I have appreciated the hard work and dedication the doctors put into our patients. As the clinical coordinator, I feel accomplished because I’ve helped create beautiful smiles, alongside the LakePointe crew.
Erica
I have worked at LakePointe Orthodontics since June 2009. In my free time I enjoy jewelry making, knitting, and crafts. Seeing Drs. Krieg’s and Pajtas’ commitment to each patient is rewarding, and makes the practice an enjoyable place for both the patients and employees. I love witnessing the patient’s smile change from the start of treatment to the finish.
Melissa
I have worked at LakePointe Orthodontics as a technician since 2008. I enjoy watching each patient progress through treatment, and seeing the end result. As a technician, it is rewarding to see first-hand how much patients’ confidence increases after their braces are removed. It is a pleasure working with the people I do, and my job wouldn’t be satisfying without them. The kindness and care that the doctors have for the patients makes this a successful and enjoyable practice.

My favorite part of being a LakePointe Orthodontic technician is seeing patients’ self-esteem grow as their smile transforms. Working with Drs. Krieg and Pajtas has shown me what it is like to have a true passion for patient care and positively impacting another’s life. I was born and raised in Texas, and before moving to Michigan, I lived in Grenada, West Indies, and New York City.
Patty
I have been a Dental Assistant since 1993, and just recently made the switch to being an orthodontic assistant. I enjoy watching patients’ self-esteem grow as their smile becomes straighter. Drs. Krieg and Pajtas strive to create an enjoyable and comfortable place for their patients to come for treatment. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy raising my 16 year-old son, photography and riding my motorcycle.
Virginia
I have been in the orthodontic field since 2004, and began my journey at LakePointe in 2011. Drs. Krieg and Pajtas are very knowledgeable and make every effort to improve our practice, while encouraging the staff to continue learning and to grow. I love that the doctors are very compassionate people and how they genuinely care about the patients. Helping patients as they progress through treatment is what I like best about working as a technician. I think the most important part of orthodontics is improving a person’s self-confidence by creating a beautiful smile. Being a part of the process and the end result is very rewarding.

As a nursing student at Wayne State University, working in orthodontics gives me the opportunity to put my enthusiasm for patient care into helping Drs. Krieg and Pajtas with your braces. I am usually found in the lab building your retainers that will keep those teeth in place as you grow into your new smile!
